That's exactly what I am here for! When working with me you will have access to your own in-house Designer. It takes a whole village to raise a child, same goes with your label. We will be working together throughout the Design and Development stage. No previous experience necessary.

Short answer yes. (We will discuss this in more
detail during the consultation). Fabrics can be digitally printed, or screen printed. Costs will vary between the two and the cost of fabric printing is added on top of the cost of fabric. It all adds up! I recommend using the services of a specialised Print Designer.

Each Manufacturer has different MOQ, it depends on your product and which Manufacturer is the most suitable. MOQ can range from 30-100

Unfortunately no. The factory isn't able to look at sketches and be like- yeah that’s gonna be 30 bucks thanks. Only after the first sample is made will you receive a quote for Bulk Production. This is because
they need to factor in the make time. Your garments production price depends on how long it takes to sew. The more complex the garment, the longer it takes to sew, the higher the production price.

Please allow 6 weeks for each round of sampling. This includes the pattern and make time for each style and can be more depending
on the production schedule of the factory. For Bulk Production please allow 6-8 weeks as a rough estimation. Again, this may vary based on the production
schedule of the factory.

When manufacturing overseas every part of the process is completed in house. You receive a full finished product with FSC communicating with one person
only.
In Australia, there's a separate person for each part of the process, with me running in between them all like a headless chook. It starts with Fabric Wholesaler, then Pattern Maker, then off to the Cutter, Sample
Maker, while this is all happening, there's also the label company, swing
tags, any screen/digital printing, packaging.. add on top of this Australian wages and i'll let you put two and two together.

There are a few factors- Timeline, product type, fabric used and MOQ. The biggest one being product type. This is not a one size fits all scenario. A Manufacturer can specialise in stretch wear (swimwear, activewear, dancewear etc) and only sew those garments.
Others may specialise in a type of fabric (knit or woven) or a particular category (Kidswear,eveningwear etc). I select the Manufacturer/s suitable for your range.

This all depends on the factory we work with. The bigger the factory, the bigger the MOQ. MOQ usually starts at 100 per style per colour.

Allow for 2- 3 samples to be made. The first sample is for fit, confirming fabrics, trims and colours. The second sample will be made with all adjustments from Sample 1, including labels and any printing of logos. When we have approved the PPS (Pre-Production Sample) then
it's time to proceed with Bulk Manufacturing.

Of course you can... if you have PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
in the Industry (Garment Technician, Pattern Maker, Production Manager, Design Assistant- woring in retail does not count).
In an attempt to save money, many start-ups wish to forgo any assistance from a Production Manager and do it all on their own. They receive the sample back and it's not perfect and they blame the factory.

NEWS FLASH- it is NOT the factories fault. It is the responsibility of the factory to follow CLEAR instructions given to them by a PRODUCTION MANAGER, and a detailed Tech Pack. This includes instructions for fabric, trims (zippers, buttons, elastic) construction of garments, measurements, sizing, grading, adjustments to samples, packaging and freight.

I see start ups doing all of this on their own, with ill fitting and poorly constructed garments doing the rounds and it makes my blood boil. Please do not be one of these people.

During the sampling process, samples are sent
via DHL. Bulk Production shipment is sent via sea. This usually takes 6-8 weeks. With many delays caused by Covid this can now take up to 12 weeks. I will assist you with all paperwork required for bulk shipment from China (Customs clearance, Bill of Lading etc).

During the Sampling stage, please allow 12 weeks minimum (2- samples, shipping, fit adjustments etc) For Bulk Manufacturing the lead time may vary from 3-6 weeks, depending on your total order and the Factory’s existing production schedule.
The Factory will advise me of the lead time once the PPS (Pre-Production Sample) has been approved. Please note, this does not
include shipping time.

Please note, these times are an estimation only. Covid has caused numerous unexpected delays in many parts of China disrupting Production times.
